About Impact Evaluation

Impact Evaluation was established to support schools to use evaluation more effectively as a driver of improvement.

I am an experienced school leader and educational evaluator with a background in system-level review and academic research. My work draws on experience as an evaluator for the Education Review Office, alongside doctoral-level study, combining deep evaluation expertise with a practical understanding of school contexts.

I understand the realities schools face — limited time, competing priorities, and increasing expectations around evidence and improvement. My approach is designed to cut through complexity, providing clear frameworks, practical tools, and focused support that can be used immediately.

Rather than positioning evaluation as a compliance activity, I work with schools to embed it as a meaningful, ongoing process that informs teaching, leadership, and strategic decision-making.

My core goal is to help schools grow their impact through thoughtful, confident use of evidence.
